She grew up on a cattle farm in Virginia & cut her teeth gigging as a teenager in East Coast music scene, paying homage to Suzanne Vega, The Replacements, Waylon Jennings, & early R.E.M.; then one day she packed up her truck & moved to New Orleans, where she's been happily ever after.
