Cicada (NZ)
Cicada was an alternative, post-rock four-piece formed in Auckland, New Zealand, active from 1992-1998. They combined hard-edged guitar noise with subtle melodies to create a distinctive rhythmic and unnerving sound encapsulated by superbly-crafted shifts in dynamics.
