Sift was formed as Speeny Bowl Wagon in 1991 in Boston, MA.
Their sound incorporates a mix of influences including 70's prog rock, 80's metal & darkwave, 90's alternative/indie & ambient, and 00's post rock.
Many, shows, demos, albums and members later, the band is now based in Greensboro, NC and is currently working on their fifth full-length release.
