Yann Tambour first emerged as Encre, crafting intricate electronica before pivoting to his roots in fingerpicking guitar. His artistic shift crystallized with Churning Strides (2007). A residency in Dakar led to a key collaboration with Boubacar Cissokho, a kora virtuoso. Together, they co-wrote Luxe (2016). After the rhythm-driven Grand Rodeo, they both return with The Warmth You Deserve (2024).
