00tz 00tz is proud to announce their 6th studio album titled “Obscura” released on Aural Alchemy Records, August 21st, 2017.
After almost 10 years of releases, 00tz 00tz “Obscura” is a collection of obscure music left in the dark, of songs left off of previous releases later to be remade in it’s now present form.
“These were songs that did not quite fit the style of an album at the time of a release. I felt it was time to dust off these tracks, go back into the studio and remake them over. Some of the songs appeared as different mixes on compilations, while some were never released at all” –Nicky Phoenix.
“Obscura” now defines 00tz 00tz by sticking to their original approach while not conforming into a cookie-cutter mold. Different arrays of sounds, styles, and approaches reflect within this release. More predominate on “Obscura” than of their last works are more guitars, broader drum work and mainly fore-fronted vocals.
