2wice Again from Nickel & Dimed by 14KT
When I first made this, I kept repeating the phrase “Twice Again” in my head in my Chuck D “Once again back is the incredible!” type voice. The beat was very simple, but it sounded like an artist would tell a story over it. It also reminded me of a tattoo my friend Charrelle Thomas had inspired by a line from Outkast’s “Aquemini” song. I cut that line in to add to the thought.
