It took a stroke and an aneurism to get this shit together. Vocals were recorded between 2006 and 2009 before mad illness nearly killed him. '3ocloc Bogey': the début solo release by Melbourne rap emcee, beatmaker, multi-instrumentalist 3oclocBogey (3oB) covers 13 years worth of his best work.
Known as the melodica-toting spokes-face for Agency Dub Collective, 3oB loves toasting rubbadub or dancehall style but his passion has always been for straight rapping with a polysylabic, content-heavy flow.
That's what '3ocloc' is about; whether concept driven 3 verse epics or going back n' forth with his boys Krisdafari, Pataphysics and Rex Mundi, this album has lasting power and variety. Bogey honed his skills for ages before putting anything out on his own - only to be smashed down by a cerebral abscess. All proceeds go towards the rehabilitation of the artist.
