Progress by An Ancient Legend, Long Forgotten
This album is the companion to "Regress", and is in a marginally different style of music than what I normally make. For this album and "Regress", I decided to take a somewhat stripped down approach to the instrumentation, and focus on more of a traditional "rock" sound than "metal". Instead of increasing complexity and variety like my last two "Atmospheres" volumes, I went towards simplicity and cohesion.
I created "Progress" with the ideas of space, exploration, and science fiction as a guide. Spacey synths, guitar effects, sound effects, and reverb help to create the sonic landscape of these ideas. I hope you enjoy my latest release. Thank you for your support in what I do.
