Abstrak Mind was born Matthew J Thompson. A.M. grew up in a troubled home and due to several levels of abuse was forced into foster care until his grandmother took custody of him and his five siblings. Against all odds Abstrak made it his mission to not become a product of his environment. He shares his past through his music, telling stories of how he overcame the many tragedies of his childhood.
