Achromatous EP by Achromatous

"Colour is the place where our brain and the universe meet."

This quote initially shaped the overall concept and idea behind "Achromatous", which can be interpreted very ambiguously in many several ways.

This also applies to the EP's individual songs as well.

More specifically, our brains and the universe are to a certain aspect considered connected and in contrast to that both are completely separated from eachother, simultaneously.

Our actions have no effect on what happens in the universe, but in a more narrowed down context, i.e. the world we live in, we really do create an impact on our surroundings.

Color, being a specifically subjective sensation of radiation is a very prime example for the beginning of human perception, its highly personal interpretation and its boundaries which Achromatous - meaning the absence of color - takes as a metaphor for humanity's being in time, space and our mostly socialized environment.
