Sound Camera by Acme Rocket Quartet

Most of this music was composed between 9 a.m. and noon on Sunday mornings in West Sacramento. Everything was recorded by Dave on PARIS and a Tascam TSR-8 and he is responsible for the production and mixing. He also played the bass on all tunes, manipulated the Arp Explorer, and contributed vocals to tracks 2 and 13. Roger played his guitars through a purple amp, constantly borrowed picks from everyone else, and worked the keyboards and a MIDI drum machine on tracks 1 & 14. Damn if he didn't forget to bring his banjo to every session. John played all the horns, the Farfisa, and an abused Rhodes 73 stage piano that seems to have changed our lives. Riouxsie played the Salt Machine, the Orff marimba, the thrift store Wurlitzer on track 10, and the drum kit. He also took the cover picture. We found an old battery powered Concord F-20 reel-to-reel Sound Camera recorder and two boxes of 1/4" letter tapes at the SPCA thrift store, and that's where the other voices came from.
