The Project by Why Not

When we first thought of this project, our idea was to add
our own style to some of the excellent songs by local songwriters. We are so grateful that everyone not only embraced this idea, but also told us the hidden story of how the song had been conceived. How wonderful to have this extra layer of meaning behind the lyric revealed.

We hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoy performing them.

We are so grateful to all the songwriters who have contributed to this project by allowing us to sing, perform and record their songs and musical stories, which can be interpreted in so many ways by the listener. Like all well written songs they become stories for us all and take on individual meaning. WHY NOT feel privileged to be able to do this and keep local artist's songs alive in the wonderful musical community in Herts.
