Bad Lungs by Adam Svec
Adam Svec’s fourth solo effort, Bad Lungs, was engineered and mixed by Graham O’Brien at Bellows Studio beginning in December 2015. It is a collection of six songs attempting to leverage melodies and simple song structures to tell stories. While this is not a new idea (see “the rest of all music”), Svec brings the listener familiar scaffolding filled out by sonic architecture that is oddly unique, typically driven by his northern vision of the country.
Recommended if you like Low, David Bazan, and Bowerbirds.
