The frogdog is a pygmy-hippo (or large hog) sized, orchid-hued, potato-shaped, alien quadruped with bulging eyes and a big smile. The frogdog is friendly, playful and comical. He burps large "discontinuity bubbles" that he can enter, simultaneously exiting a corresponding bubble at his destination. In this way the frogdog can transport itself over large distances and/or past seemingly impassable obstacles. The frogdog can speak and uses understandable language but never says anything that makes any sense. The species is harmless and seemingly indestructible.
