Manifold by After the First
debut ep was released on 8th of october 2019, it presents introspective issues and it wants to tell complex moments of life on mental and moral plan, when the main character runs its travel from a hopeful start (opening track title) to a blasting end (closing instrumental title), getting through the desperate search for perfection, almost obsessive, in reaching the most important target: realize himself by writing music and concluding his first EP. In the middle of this EP, the track "!To follow" puts on the fundamental question persecuting the character afflicted by doubt and indecision; should he follow his heart and risk everything for something hard or leave all behind choosing safety that rationality would suggest? The conclusion is unknown and left to the listener who can give different interpretations; also, the "!" in the title is "not" in information technology code developing theory, so that who knows this can choose to read the final message as "not to follow", or just "to follow" as well. Before a blasting end (blasting for winning the challenge), the introspection goes on the doubt from the first track, but with a negative connotation; the distance from his passion begins to grow with the great temptation to give up, until something changes the character point of view, getting at the end of his path.
