Memoirs by Alexander Sure

Welcome to the world of Alexander Sure, the alter ego of the U.K. Hip Hop artist Gee Bag.

“Memoirs” is the debut release for Alexander Sure and is the first ever E.P. on vinyl, CD and tape cassette formats on 369 Recordings. The 9 track project is a taster of what these two individuals can concoct, whenever led to do so.

The persona of Alex is blunt, upfront straight up lyricism accompanied by the soundscape of Mister Jaes (Master Fate according to Alex).
Alexander doesn’t think much of Gee Bag, whilst on the other hand Gee Bag has nothing but respect for this character.

Originally fashioned whilst going through lockdown. Mister Jaes and Alex had this baby on a slow roast before presenting it to the public eye. Short but sweet with just enough ingredients to keep you content and coming back for more.

This is unconventional Hip Hop at its finest such as the leading track “Ooof!!” Which was released last year on an amazing picture disc, with also “Get Out My Head” featuring The Strange Neighbour. Who happens to be the only guest artist to feature on this new E.P.

Tracks like “Home” touches on the pros and cons of living in a house with a family and Wife, while juggling the music biz. A slowed down steady tempo track with a serious heavy sub bass line to warm anyones heart.

“Mek It” which is the opening track of the E.P. Is the total opposite and smacks you across the face with its high octane impact from the very start. The track is actually a remix of Alexander Sure’s debut single “Part One”.

Pre orders for “Memoirs” will be available from the 369 Recordings Bandcamp on the 5th May. The releases date will be the 2nd June on CD, Tape Cassette, 12” Vinyl and Digital formats with stunning artwork by Remi Rough.
