On their victorious return from the bloody and dusty Northern war game festivities, the infernal fighters Nadine “AENGELDUST” Engel and Pedro “ACYLUM” Engel decided to honor the heroes who got crowned on the battlefields of life… and death. Complementing their recent “Nordische Feste” album, this new “Helden” extended EP puts their explosive and extraordinary collaboration with 80’s living legend Hubert Kah (also known for his successful hit-songs and backing vocals for the 80’s icon SANDRA) back in the spotlight. A melodic noir mystic song paying homage to our ancestors and our everyday life heroes, to honor, fear, loyalty, hatred and violence. Exactly what TOTEM OBSCURA is all about! The EP also presents additional exclusive remixes of other album songs like “Blut Marschiert”, “Eisenmann” and “Bastard”.

TOTEM OBCURA stands for aggressive dark elektro, tortuous Middle-Age tonalities, lingering oppressive atmospheres reinforced by German lyrics and contrasting vocal duets between Nadine’s bewitching chants and Pedro’s powerful distorted growls.
