Prelude #125 by Allen Rickel

A leisurely walk on a pleasant spring morning is the feeling I experience when I hear the opening theme of Prelude #125. (What do you hear?) After a 36 measure stroll lasting just shy of a minute, the tempo slows, the key changes from major to minor. Clouds and rain replace the earlier sunshine. After another minute, the gloom recedes and spring returns.
