Prelude #37 by Allen Rickel

I felt that a lot of my recent work sounded a little too straightforward, too "common practice," if you will. So I decided to try to create a piece with a slightly different harmonic language, hopefully something more modern, more unique.

I have no idea whether I succeeded or not, but I offer the effort in the form of Prelude #37, which was completed on September 24th, 2019. I hope that you'll let me know what you think. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to listen.
