Underworld by Alter Natural
Underworld is a progressive chillstep/atmospheric electro-groove track I produced in the span of two days, released as the first feature single for my debut album 'Journey'. This track was inspired by the evocative visuals and atmosphere of expansive, fantasy-style caves (i.e. digital paintings), with the pulse of glowing crystals, the wisp of dark air against trickling water, and the reverberant expanse of gravity-defying rock formations. Through the ambient synth textures, subtle percussive touches and hard-hitting beats, this was one of my first successful attempts of creating music from a specific visual prompt.
