anodyne by Amelia Wilcox

I wrote and recorded this EP over the month of February 2025 as part of the RPM challenge.

An anodyne (noun) is something that soothes, calms, or comforts. My aim for this project was to illustrate a healing journey. Less about feeling better from some acute situation, but more largely about the dialog that takes place within yourself while teasing out themes and habits that might be holding you back. I was really inspired by the idea of getting to talk face to face with my younger self, so the whole EP sort of grew out of that seed.
