Trostlose Stadt by American Astro Monkey Project
Anyone remember the 1971 movie The Omega Man. Unlike that city this one is somewhat more noisy, due to the AI controlled power systems that maintain all the abandoned equipment. You won't get no sleep here!
This started out as a modular patch, which developed into the soundscape of this piece. You'll hear some classic 70s sample & hold from the 2600 buried in the mix. Along with a more varied modern take using Plaits.
Developing further with my hardware equipment, I purchased the Donner Versa stereo reverb and delay pedal. Included are my experiments of using the Donner Versa with the Korg Minilogue in solo, and in combination with the Novation Circuit Tracks.
