"Hungry Ghosts have huge stomachs and tiny, needle-like mouths and throats. They symbolize a poverty mentality: in their form and in their behavior, they exhibit persistent pain from constantly trying to satisfy a hunger that can never be fulfilled.
This album was an exploration of the Hungry Ghost realm and a realization of another Buddhist concept: emptiness. Once we realize nothing satisfies our constant craving and we rest in that uncertain space, we are able to discover our greatest potential.
A transformation of something beautiful from something dark and empty."
