DoSi from ETOKIKU by Amnon Wolman

DoSi was written in 2010, for a premiere at the Tzlil Meudcan Festival in July. The unusual name (for me, since most of my pieces are named after traffic signs,) is a result of a stream of consciousness kind of situation where I was typing while thinking about two things at once, as usual they were what am I doing now and what do I want/need to do next. The name was the result of that confusion and when I looked at what I typed, DoSi was on the screen.

Amnon Wolman is a sound artist and composer. His music works employ acoustic instruments, electronics, images and texts in pursuit of a sound world in which social interactions are part of the musical information provided to the listeners, and part of the composition process. He is interested in the peculiar and subjective listening of an individual.
