Some will call you insane. Daring? I quite like that term. But whatever you call it, some of us like to live dangerously. Unpredictably, if you will.
Black.MIDI() was created with a DIY MIDI controller made with a Pi Pico and way too many external libraries. Its purpose? To spit out random, confusing, borderline-nonsensical MIDI signals - most of which appearing like the ever-popular black MIDI that haunts us in the night.
Why? Well, that's for you to decide. Do you plan on converting them to CV so that you can control your rig, or do you plan to sift through them, copying and pasting at will to create something truly ugly? Better yet - do you dare to hit the quantize button and loop a section of this horrid MIDI sludge as the basis of your next hit single? I'd love to know.
With velocity and note randomization, there's almost nothing that can't be controlled with these chaotic, bizarre signals. This pack contains 12 extremely dense files with more to come.
