I watched the blue tide rising, I watched the good grace fall. onwards to new horizons, horizons build on fascist law. and I caught you in denial. and I saw you refuse the truth. no matter how real the threat. you turned away as they prevailed. I can see the fires of hatred blacken the firmament. I can see the flood of fear tainting our humble world. we can not progress in utter darkness. we can not uphold this fragile peace. and in this age of darkness, we battle one another over scraps of belief and self-righteousness. stick to your oaths. remember your convictions. stand strong and firm. this is our elegy. look at us now - fighting our wars amongst ourselves inside our bubbles. divided and scared we cling to our beliefs as everything around us goes up in flames. I will not give in to infighting. I refuse to be a pawn in your game. the time is now to unite and fight. and as they march towards our barricades let it be known that we stand as one. no more petty fights, no more bitching - as of now this is war. but not because we want it but for the sake of a glimpse of freedom. hold on to love and one another in times of utter hatred. defend humanity in times of strife. give hope to our fairy tale. don't let them take away our dreams of a better world in these cold ass nights.
