We recorded this summertime jam with our friends Ames Harding & The Mirage and brought you all some flowers. It's one of the oldest songs in our catalog but sometimes certain songs just can't find a home. It was a pleasure sharing this with them. The music and vibe they carry is infectious and full of life.
Originally inspired by the night of my first date with my wife. We planned to meet for dinner and a night out dancing and ended up lost in conversation about music, our favorite books and the movies that inspire us. The title references our shared love of the Clash's Sandinista!
Sandinista Smile leans into the romance, it's about letting go, if only for a moment to celebrate the beautiful times with the ones you love.
