坐車去海邊 suzhou by 李安杰

坐車去海邊 (literally, driving to the beach), or suzhou, came from a strong desire to bring my girlfriend back to my hometown. even though both our families have settled in suzhou, we didn't meet and know each other until we started studying in san diego. originally an english song, i sent the melody and the production to my lyricist friend, Umu, who helped me flesh out the song, combining its vibes as a driving anthem with a romantic backstory of a couple going to and getting lost by the sea.

anjie (or daniel, both works :D) is a singer-songwriter from a beautiful town known as suzhou.
