artillery nightspace aka s. talada is known for his work as marching dynamics, the operative or as resident dj of the legendary das bunker club, los angeles. s. talada has developed a reputation as a sound chameleon, a shape shifter. blending the obscure with certain known attributes, manipulating noise to channel and convey something beyond emotions and ideas.

talada uses artillery nightspace as an avenue for expressing his knowledge of and proficiency in noise-tinged electronics, soaking techno pieces in boiler-room atmospherics and connecting different genre motifs of electronic music. nestling beats in a suspensful atmosphere of dark complexity with rhythmic intensity. these sensations, made with machines, stimulate the senses and captures the imagination, melding the mind to the rhythm of the music.

this album represents the constant struggle we all have with adversity and how each of us face it. how sometimes the battles are lost and the war is won, or vice versa. we have to stockpile hope wherever we can find it, find strength in the cracks and crevices when we think that there is none. to keep our heads held high, to stay low and keep moving, always pushing forward. to accept that which we cannot change and to change that which we can..
