Songs can come from anywhere and at anytime. One day I was taking the city bus and heard someone retell a story to another rider about their struggle to get clean. I "take the number 6" is a reference to the bus trip the person would take to receive outpatient services. Although I didn't know this person directly, they created a character in my minds eye that created this grittier rock and roll track.
