Ragtime by Bruno Fontaine

Bruno Fontaine is an unclassifiable artist: concert pianist, conductor, arranger and composer. After graduating from the Paris Conservatoire with a string of awards, he quickly blended his talents as a classical concert pianist with his taste for all kinds of music: arranger, orchestrator and musical director for luminaries in variety and jazz, from Johnny Hallyday to Julia Migenes, from Mylène Farmer to Ute Lemper, or from Barbara Hendricks to Paolo Conte, Bruno Fontaine is recognized and rewarded in all styles.

The composer has been nominated for both the Victoires de la Musique and the Césars (music for the films "On connaît la chanson" and "Pas sur la bouche"). The concert pianist received the ffff Télérama award for his recital disc dedicated to Mozart, and plays under the baton of Yutaka Sado, Laurent Petigirad and many others. The conductor leads orchestras as prestigious as the London Symphony Orchestra. The arranger and musical director was awarded the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros ("Illusion" Ute Lamper)...

Pianiste concertiste, chef d’orchestre, arrangeur, compositeur, Bruno Fontaine est un artiste inclassable. Dès sa sortie du Conservatoire de Paris, bardé de prix, il mêle très vite ses talents de concertiste classique à son goût de toutes les musiques : arrangeur, orchestrateur ou directeur musical de sommités de la variété et du jazz, de Johnny Hallyday, à Julia Migenes, de Mylène Farmer à Ute Lemper, ou de Barbara Hendricks à Paolo Conte, Bruno Fontaine est reconnu et récompensé dans tous les styles.
