Morari was formed in 2017 as a Post-Metal project in Los Angeles, a result of a fascination of the stark contrast between the bleak sounds of Atmospheric Black Metal, and the gentle chimes of clean, Post Rock/Shoegaze melodies, painting vivid landscapes of raw, intense human emotion at its core.
Released in 2018, "The Light" is a window into the suffering mind of depression. Raw, howling screams conflict with quiet, lonely verses
of solitude, addressing the constant, lingering urge to end the pain.
Forged from desperation, The Light recreates an unspoken world of fear, longing, pain, and hopelessness. In the absence of light, we wander blind, yearning for hope that will never come.
