dustbath by apostrophist

this album was recorded entirely wearing headphones at night with a small child sleeping in the next room, during a several-year span of time filled with grief at the loss of a good friend and of my father, treating an oldish synth and fairly fancy recording software like my personal band and an old 4-track recorder, respectively, playing a game of cumulative recording where i focused on the creation of each voice in turn without any real plan for a finished project. there is at least one moment in each track that i think is just right.
