Aquafaba by Aquafaba

The sound of the album reflects the complexity of the meeting of two parallel universes united in one continent: South America. The band moves through robust regional influences and a vast rhythmic range: the intrigue of bossa nova, the contagiousness of the baião from Northeastern Brazil, the non-linear daring of jazz, and the subtle transgressive freedom of Berlin. Cultural diversity permeates their sound and elegantly reveals itself in their lyrics written in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Environmental preservation, personal empowerment, awareness expansion as well as the manifestation of different kinds of desires are themes present in the inclusive and fabulous world of Aquafaba.
