Come True by Ari Neufeld
Written for my dear friend Paul West, at his wife Liz's commissioning. It was a difficult commission, as the Wests are diehard and very loud fans of my work. Liz wanted a song that would really tell the story of their 25 years of marriage and represent all of the emotions they appreciate about the music experience. The outcome was profound to all of us, and to date is one of my favourite songs ever.
