Organarchy’s 1998 Anti-Nuclear Album ‘Filthy Jabilucre’ has been remastered and re-released for 2025.
In 1998, Australia stood united against uranium mining at Jabiluka, with Indigenous and non-Indigenous activists resisting corporate and government-backed land destruction. Now, in 2025, the fight against nuclear expansion continues, and Organarchy is bringing back the soundtrack of that resistance.
The remastered re-release of our 1998 album – originally created in solidarity with the Jabiluka protests – arrives at a time when the nuclear industry once again threatens land, culture, and communities. The album captures the energy of the movement, featuring samples from frontline protests, radio broadcasts, and fundraising efforts from the Ohms Not Bombs ‘Dig The Sounds Not Uranium’ Tour. This tour, documented in a film now available online, saw a collective of activists and artists travel across Australia, raising awareness and funds through multimedia-infused doofs and community events.
Organarchy is an unstructured collective of cut-and-paste technoids dedicated to crafting politically charged soundscapes at community parties and underground gatherings. Our recordings remain anticopyright freeware, designed for amplification at events that push for a better future.
