INFERNO RIDE by Asta D.

INFERNO RIDE is a spoken word album with some singing. The lyrics are from between 2015-2019 in English and German. INFERNO RIDE is about being unsatisfied with a life situation and about searching for something better not knowing exactly what that could be. It is about love, loss, breakdowns and keeping on going no matter what. "To walk" is repeating as a theme – walking and searching. Most of the lyrics are from my transition period moving from one country to another. Although the lyrics are kind of dark and melancholic – there is hopefully also some funny elements here and there!
INFERNO RIDE is a low budget project, (but a high-work-loaded project!). The sound in general reflects the DIY approach using only easily available devices and programs to create a raw, study-like effect and to avoid so-called professional studio sounds. This is intentional! It gives a rather primitive and playful expression – (and hopefully also a bit funny sometimes!) like peeping into the studio room of the artist.
