Their sound is on the HEAVIER side---and by heavier, I mean straight up BONE CRUSHING! The music lays down huge, thick doom toned riffs with the rough gravitational destruction of sludge. MOONDOZER is as heavy as the moon and perpetually moving forward like a bulldozer and one of the HEAVIEST songs I've heard this second half of the year in non-extreme metal.

FUZZY psych/stoner/doom that absolutely RIPS across the seven tracks with zero filler. Catchy and well executed, the album gets better and better on each listen. This is one of the DEBUTS OF THE YEAR for me, as Astronomie successfully executed a space/grunge combo MASTERPIECE.

This is an exciting record that always brilliantly entertains despite the overall crazed SPACED OUT vision of the album. With INTENSE and different sounding RIFFS throughout, first rate COSMIC storytelling and trippy warped sounds, Astronomie have delivered the mother-trucking goods here. EXCELLENT and Highly Recommended.

Launching their HEAVY-DUTY grunge jet, Astronomie perfectly reached the orbit and the “Interstellar Nomad” album is worth having a deep acquaintance with. Investigating it riff by riff, you’ll become overwhelmed pretty soon. Then, the next stage comes. It’s PURE ENJOYMENT, surrounded by the stars, the comets and charged asteroids. Beware of explosions!

A song like Galactic Jack will bring listeners back to the 70s and there’s a PSYCHEDELIC doom sound to Moondozer. If you’re into DOOM ROCK with a timeless sound, you would be advised to check Astronomie out.
