Both of these pieces are representative of a personal struggle against nostalgic thinking, involving a kind of atomization of stimuli in order to better confront them. Sound sources include ‘circuit-bent’ electronic children’s toys, home video game systems and shopping mall recordings from urban Japan. A portion of the piece '8bit Vamachara' debuted at the ‘Digital Art Weeks’ festival in Zurich over the summer of 2007, but is otherwise unreleased.
