Metrospective EP by Petr Drkula

Petr Drkula (born in 1979) is a Czech composer and Ph.D. in music theory (Olomouc, London). In his works he experiments with clear lines and simple structures.

Each of the three pieces is actually a study of different musical parameters.

The prime-number relationships between the sequences are involved in the first one, melodic variations in the next one and undetermined rhytmical metamorphoses in the last one.

Instrumentation: piano, hammond organ, electric piano and delay effect.
