The title track of the album is about how truth exposes us to harsh reality. Standing in one's own truth can be very lonely and isolating, and all too often, the people you think will understand and support you simply don't get you at all. I asked my dear friend Kevin Hewick to duet with me on this, because... he gets it. The bitterness, the anger, the sadness, and the infuriation at others who should've been in our corner, but couldn't see beyond their own navels, and then had the audacity to put the blame and shame on us. This song calls out certain people, yes. And, I make no appologies for it. This is my last album, I can do what I want! Oh, yeah,THIS is one of the things I told the ravens about.
