This is a song for slowing down. For tending to what is close, what is real, what feeds life. For breathing deep, and remembering to listen to our heart.
This song was written in the first month of lockdowns, when everything felt so unknown and there was so much fear in the air. Often, it seems, a crisis can clarify what's most important. Often, a thousand voices of confusion can push us to look deeper within for our heart's truth. A disturbance in external systems propels us toward creating our own. And the quickening movement of life summons us to breathe.
