Solgira from Calicanto EP by Badelll
Solgira pays tribute to the Wayuunaiki culture, an Amerindian ethnic group from the Guajira Peninsula, spanning the northernmost parts of Colombia and northwest Venezuela.
Inspired by the music of a wide range of contemporary creators such as Akufen, Herbert, Bruno Pronsato, Jan Jenilek, Isolée, Harold Budd, Ricardo Villalobos, Brian McBride, Francesco Tristano, and Flabbergast.

Now based in Buenos Aires, he explores the musical landscape of the Americas.
His production, targeting a sense of saudade, weaves elements of Afro-Venezuelan rhythm patterns through sampling techniques.
Drawing inspiration from the eclectic and rich musical heritage of his hometown.
