Louville by Louville

Louville is a project centered entirely around environment. Sampling a location, and putting that atmosphere down on record. For each set of songs the location is changed and have a select number of instruments at our disposal. This limits the sounds available to us but their possibilities are more deeply explored in an effort to bring that sense of location across audibly.

Louville is comprised of Nigel, Gordon and Laurie. Each a musical innovator in their own right, their paths crossed in Sheffield and slowly but surely they came to the decision to pool their talents.
