L’afrobeat combattant du Nigéria, le highlife dansant du Ghana, le bikutsi Camourenais ou la musique Mandingue d’Afrique occidentale sont autant d’influences que les neuf musiciens ont infusé dans la soul, mixé à du jazz, greffé sur du funk.
En canalisant son énergie et sa furia initialement taillées pour enflammer les rues, Balaphonics a su développer un son et des compositions à même d’être couchées sur disque.
