This is track 2 in the 12 track album TiLT, inspired by the seasons with a song for every month of the year.
This song, To Life is celebrating Beltane and the move from spring to summer. I built the song around the medieval round Sumer Is Icumen In, weaved into a soundscpae of May sounds recorded in North Norfolk and also the line 'To Life' is sampled from the previous song 'Something New' the april song about Springtime.
Bertie Anderson Haggart is an internationally acclaimed, award winning musician and composer. She grew up in North Norfolk where her musical journey began. Known most for her work with Bowjangles, the comedy theatrical string quartet and The BeauBowBelles a swing folk band.
