Demo by HANDS HELD THE DEAD

These were our first two songs. There is a drum beat with just vocals in Daydreaming Othello for a few measures that was the only part Makh and Noah had when Jason Leach and I joined the band. Pretty rad to listen back to that and realize the years of playing together and friendship which came from it.

We played under the HHTD moniker for a couple of years before changing directions and changing the name to Betray the Species.

BETRAY THE SPECIES was a band from I think 1999 - 2001 or so. Though we had many members come and go, the core group was Makh Daniels, Noah Brodsky, and Ryan Slater. We were an emotional Hardcore band, call it whatever you want.
