Islands EP by Bird of Paradise
Four years in the making, Bird of Paradise's second EP was written by Rachael Ann and produced and mastered in quarantine by Elliot Polokoff. The album features a more guitar-based sound for the synthpop project, due to live collaborations with Sunil Sajwani, who joined the group after a relocation to Los Angeles. The record covers themes of living in locked down urban sprawl while longing for islands and deserts visited in the pre-pandemic past. Artwork by Eric Cyganic Morgan.
