So there we were, with half a song and a day before a competition we were supposed to be playing this song

We locked ourselves in the music practice rooms with a computer and only our wits to keep us alive

We started off with a melody and the 'woah' part and that grew and grew, until we had harmonies, counter melodies and a ridiculously over-the-top breakdown

We came fourth in the competition, but it was a day-old song back then, what do you expect? :)

It's a song about feeling alone in the world when someone leaves you and you don't know why

Like when Simba loses Mufassa in 'The Lion King'... damn just thinking about it makes us tear up
