Guest spoken word by Sam Cutler, Rolling Stone and Grateful Dead road manager during their tumultuous US tours in the 1970's (that's Sam in the roll neck behind the scene's at Altamont in the Mayle's Brothers' epic movie Gimme Shelter). Sam reached out to make contact after the press of Altamont Diary. He was living in Brisbane and we asked him to come down and do something poignant towards the end of the album. We recorded some interviews with him which didn't really work (too stagey), then Sam said he had an idea and we let him speak alone to the mic for around 30 mins. The results are magic.
